CORNURI DOSPITE

Ingrediente:

100 g unt, 100 g untura, 100 g zahar, 2 galbenusuri sau un ou intreg,
150 ml lapte sau smintina, 30 g drojdie, 500 g faina, 1/2 lingurita
sare, vanilie, coaja rasa de lamiie.

Mod de preparare:

Intr-un castron, se freaca drojdia cu zaharul, pina cind se lichefiaza,
apoi se adauga untul si untura sau margarina moale, galbenusurile sau
oul intreg, laptele sau smintina ,sarea, coaja de lamiie sau vanilia
si, la urma, faina.Se amesteca mai intii cu lingura si, apoi, se
framinta cu mina 5-6 minute; aluatul va fi mai virtos.Se lasa sa
creasca la cald 15 minute, apoi se pune pe o foaie de naylon, presarata
cu faina si se intinde in foaie dreptunghiulara de 3-4 mm grosime.Foaia
se taie in fisii pe lungime cu latimea de 6-7 cm, iar acestea se taie
pe diagonala, in triunghiuri.Pe cite o latura a fiecarui trunghi se
pune 1/2 lingurita cu marmelada mai virtoasa. Triunghiurile se ruleaza
in forma de cornuri si, pe masura ce sint gata, se asaza in tavacca 15
minute, apoi se ung cu pensula muiata in albus batut putin cu
furculita.Se coc 30 minute la foc mijlociu (putin rumenite), apoi se
trec prin zahar pudra cu vanilie.

    PECAN SNOWBALLS

    Preheat oven to 325 F.
    Sift together:

    2 cups sifted, all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp salt

    Stir in:

    1 cup chopped pecans

    Cream together:

    1 cup butter
    « cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp rum flavouring

    Blend in dry ingredients.
    Shape dough into 1 inch balls. (Dampen your palms to shape them, if
    desired)
    Place a half a red or green maraschino cherry in the centre.
    Place about 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in preheated 325 F (160 C) oven for about 20 minutes.
    When baked, roll immediately in sifted icing sugar.
    When cool roll again in sifted icing sugar before serving.
